Ninja 250?

I read the other replies here and I am not sure what the cost of living is in NYC but here in OHIO you can get a Kawasaki Ninja 250CC motorcycle for 3000, You might as well get that because it has bigger tires and brakes as well as everything a real motorcycle has, just for less money. But its not automatic. I tried to post a link but my account is too new. Just google that name or Honda East Toledo, they have very low prices and will ship motorcycles across country.

i bought a 2000 kawasaki ninja 250 a few weeks ago. it needs some cosmetic work but it only cost me $700 so no biggie
however my problem is that im not too good with the clutch. i can switch gears fine but sometimes it dies when i come to a stop. im not sure if its the bike or me but it makes me real nervous when driving.
i had one of those automatic scooters/ motorcycles but it was a cheap korean or chinese bike. i want another but not so cheap.
suggestions? sell the ninja? to get a better quality automatic? stick it out and keep practicing?
