Harley-Davidson : Touring 2009 Screamin Eagle Road Glide CVO – Only 3400 MIles Picture(s) and Description:

Original owner with all original paperwork and CVO Gold key in leather case. s worth. That is all your opinion and I really dont care. If your interested in the bike you know it was just over $33K new and thats without the $1500.00 matching Chopped tour pack with docking hardware and other options. You will be hard pressed to find one this nice that has been kept in a heated garage with only 3400 miles on it. I have owned 4 CVO bikes and I order them because they have everyting you wand and need already on them including the larger bore performance engine of the time ordered already on them. This unit has the 110 CI with the six speed transmission. I have installed a few items when new to the bike which consist of the Chrome inner primary, color matched chopped tour pack, docking hardware kit, slip on slash cut Screamin Eagle mufflers and the tall windshield. All removed parts are still new in boxes and go with the bike. I paid cash for the bike new so I have the clear title in hand. The bike is priced at a fair and reasonable price for its condition. I can be contacted at 573-348-6188 weekdays 8-5 M-F or on my cell at 573-216-8662 Ask for Dan.On Nov-24-12 at 16:05:39 PST, seller added the following information: Original owner with all original paperwork and CVO Gold key in leather case. First off I would like to say that I dont need to hear how bad the economy is or what you may think personally what the bike is worth. But a beautiful bike
how do you have 400 miles in 10 years?
i think the low millage actually hurts it. to trust it, it needs fluids changed, new tires/belt & then it's maybe worth 11K imo

To Harley or not to Harley, that is the question

I have been riding motorcycles since 1975 and here is my 2 cents worth:
I ride a Harley Road King now, but I rode Japanese and English bikes for years. There are many who berate non-Harley bikes and vis versa but I am not one of them.
I avoided Harleys in the past because of the negative actions of certain biker gangs in the 70s and 80s who were closely associated with Harley Davidson. This was an image I did not want to associate myself with but the image has changed.
My Harley is a sculpture in chrome and yes, I admit that I enjoy the envious and admiring looks I get

Riding for 32 years

I have been riding motorcycles since 1975 and here is my 2 cents worth:
I recommend that new riders stay under 500cc displacement. It is still possible to look cool and have fun with a smaller bike. A 2 second mistake on a Japanese super bike will take you from 40 to 80 MPH, the same mistake on a smaller bike will take you from 40 to 42. I suggest a 250cc enduro (street legal dirt bike) with street tires for the first year.
Smaller bikes are lighter and easier to control at low speeds.
Take a rider safety course.
The primary reason for wearing leather is not for looks, it is for protection
