Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz Prove They're 'Best Friends,' Not Foes, With Silly Song

Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz? There’s never been beef there! On Friday, the star pair joked about their supposed rift on the set of Any Given Sunday back in 1999 as they promoted their new Netflix film together, Back in Action.

“Back in action! Back in action! Satisfaction! We’re back in action,” Foxx sings from behind the piano in a new clip shared on social media. “People don’t even realize how long we’ve been friends.”

“Yes! Love that,” Foxx continues. “We also did Annie together. And we lived through so much. We lived through Keyboard Cat, Pizza Rat, NFTs, DVDs, Corn Kid, Bean Dad, Salt Bae, Left Shark, Pink Sauce, Grimace Shake, and ‘The Dress.’” (Is this the intro to Fairly Odd Parents?)

“Oh yeah, which was white and gold,” Diaz jokes. “And now we’re back together for another movie, and I am just so excited.”

Back in Action marks Diaz’s first role since 2014’sAnnie, which drops on Netflix on Jan. 17. The film is a spy comedy and follows the pair as married, inactive CIA operatives who are drawn back in for a new mission along with their kids.
