Clairo Announces Five-Night Residencies in Los Angeles and New York

Later this year, Clairo will settle into a comfortable rhythm on the road as she embarks on two stretches of residency performances. The singer and songwriter has announced five performances at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre that will be swiftly followed by an additional five nights at New York’s Webster Hall.

The Los Angeles residency run will begin on Sept. 6 and will conclude on Sept. 11. The New York set of shows are scheduled for Sept. 14 through Sept. 19.

General sale for the residencies will begin on Wednesday, June 5, at 10 a.m. local time via the official Clairo website. Pre-registration for these performances will run from Wednesday, May 29 at 12 p.m. EST and extend through Sunday, June 2 at 10 p.m. local time. Clairo’s artist presale will launch on Tuesday, June 4, at 10 a.m. local time and conclude at at 10 p.m. local time.

Clairo’s plans to return to the stage come in the wake of her newly-announced third studio album Charm, out July 12. The record will feature the recently shared single “Sexy to Someone” and ten additional songs, including cuts titled “Add Up My Love,” “Slow Dance,” and “Glory of the Snow.”

Clairo last toured in 2022 in support of her sophomore effort, Sling. Similarly to the record, Charm was recorded between Allaire Studios, located outside of Woodstock, New York, and Diamond Mine Recording in Queens.

Since growing up in a small town in Massachusetts, a few miles outside of Boston, Clairo has developed a newfound appreciation for sticking around for a while. “I was so obsessed with leaving that I deprived myself of a lot of things I could have enjoyed,” she told Rolling Stone in 2021. “I expected everything to be so much bigger, and the world would open up and I could be whatever I wanted.”
