21 Savage has dropped “Call Me Revenge,” his first solo single since 2020. The track features Houston-based alt-R&B artist D4vd and will be part of forthcoming video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. Listen here.
“Call me revenge/ Cold as the ice in my veins,” D4vd sings on the anthemic chorus. “Fear is the sound of my name/ I’m here to collect to all your sins, I’m goin’ in.” 21 Savage jumps in, rapping, “I get my revenge/ Jump in cars and spin/ Keep my enemies closer/ Than I keep my friends.”
“Call Me Revenge” marks 21 Savage’s first single as a solo artist since “Secret,” his 2020 collaboration with Summer Walker. The rapper is set to star in an upcoming trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty players currently can access 21 Savage as an operator in the game. His playable skin will be able to be carried over from Modern Warfare II to Modern Warfare III, out Nov. 10.
21 Savage recently became a lawful permanent resident of the U.S. after a four-year immigration saga. With his status no longer in question, he now is allowed to visit to his birth nation of England and has begun to play shows outside of the States. Earlier this month, the rapper took the stage with Drake in Toronto and he will perform in the U.K. at the O2 Arena in London on Nov. 30. The headlining show will mark his first-ever live performance in his home country.
Ahead of the London concert, 21 Savage will play a series of European tour dates, with stops in Paris, Zurich, Berlin, Amsterdam, and more.
