The Kid Laroi Taps BTS' Jung Kook, Central Cee for Globe-Trotting Single 'Too Much'

The Kid Laroi has teamed up with BTS member Jung Kook and Central Cee for anthemic single “Too Much,” which sees the trio sharing vocals. The song has arrived with a music video directed by Ramez Silyan, which depicts the three singers on various covers of Too Muchmagazine in the midst of slick choreography.

The single combines three separate styles and countries, with Jung Kook representing South Korea and Central Cee representing the U.K. The hook-laden chorus questions their choices: “If we had the chance and the time to spend, would you do it again?/ Would you do it again? Was it too much?”

“Too Much” heralds the arrival The Kid Laroi’s new LP, The First Time, due out in November. The musician has released a series of CDs and merchandise themed around the single, which are available on his website.

Junk Kook is gearing up to release his highly-anticipateddebut solo album,Golden,out Nov. 3. The 11-song will feature guests Jack Harlow, Latto, Major Lazer, and DJ Snake, and includes previously-released singles “3D” with Jack Harlow and both a clean and explicit version of the Latto-featuring track “Seven.”

Elsewhere on the LP, Ed Sheeran has a co-writing credit on “Yes or No” alongside Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid, while songwriter David Stewart — one of the architects of the BTS hit “Dynamite” — contributes two somber-sounding tracks, “Shot Glass of Tears” and “Too Sad to Dance.”

FollowingGolden’s release, Jung Kook will stage his first-ever solo concert —not counting festival appearances— when heperformsat Seoul, South Korea’s Jangchung Arena on November 20.
