Hot on the heels of their Doll of the Year release, American Girl has another must-have this season: the Elphaba and Glinda collectibles. Part of the brand’s Wicked collaboration, these pink-and-green dolls retail for $295 and arrive just in time for the premiere of Wicked: For Good on Nov. 21, 2025, (and the fast-approaching holiday season).

Let’s start with everyone’s favorite “good” witch (though if you’ve seen the first Wicked, you know both of them are good): Glinda. With her perfectly curled blonde locks, signature pastel frock, and sparkly tiara perched atop her head, this doll is ready to take on the Wizard and save Oz.
According to the official product description, she has “brown eyes that open and close smoothly. Her long, wavy blonde hair is styled half-up with two twists beneath a tiara. She dazzles with details designed to match the Glinda character, including custom purple eyeshadow, custom eyebrows and lip color, pink bubble-shaped rhinestone earrings in her pierced ears, and pink polish on her fingernails.”

Next up is Elphaba — last seen flying into the sky on a broomstick, belting her iconic “Defying Gravity” riff (yes, you just heard it in your head, didn’t you?). Now she lands on American Girl shelves with her signature green skin, black hat (a gift from Glinda), and dark green lipstick.
The product description reads, “An 18” doll with green skin, custom freckles, and green eyes that open and close smoothly. Her custom green skin tone (an American Girl first) was designed in partnership with Universal to match the Elphaba character. She is the first American Girl doll to feature micro-braided hair, which is dark brown and styled with the ends slightly undone.”

Whether you’ve been a Wicked fan since the Broadway debut of Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth, or have recently fallen for Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande in the box-office hit, you’ll want to act fast. American Girl has confirmed that fewer than 6,000 of these dolls are available worldwide. On the website, you can see how often they’re added to carts — over 2,000 times just this week. You don’t need to be a student at Shiz University to know that these toys won’t stick around for long.
Beyond the dolls, other Wicked collaborations have popped up recently, including sweatshirts, tumblers, advent calendars, books, and even Lego sets — all available for purchase online. Read this article here to find out more.
