Shakira welcomed Black Eyed Peas onstage in Los Angeles on Tuesday night to perform their joint single “Girl Like Me” as part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. The singer also took the opportunity to showcase She Wolf deep cut “Men in This Town” for the first time live.
The Colombian singer collaborated with Black Eyed Peas on “Girl Like Me” in 2020. The single appeared on the band’s eighth studio album, Translation. Shakira has regularly been performing the song on her tour, albeit without the help of Black Eyed Peas.
Shakira launched herLas Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tourin Brazil in February, and shekicked offtheNorth American legof the tour on May 13 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was abruptly canceled a tour stop at Fenway Park in Boston on May 29 after teasing appearances from Will.i.am and Wyclef Jean. She subsequently pulled the plug on her WorldPride Welcome Concert performance at Nationals Parkin Washington, D.C., because her full tour production wouldn’t make it on time for the show.
The tour continues tonight in Los Angeles, with upcoming stops in Mexico throughout August and September. Shakira will headline the 2025 edition of annual charity concert event Global Citizen Festival in New York City on Sept. 27.
