Sir Rod Stewart was forced to postpone his residency show at the Colosseum in Las Vegas on Sunday night due to an unspecified illness. The musician made the announcement via his Instagram Stories, just hours before his set time, around 6 p.m. local time, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
“I am sorry to inform you that I’m not feeling well and my show tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is being rescheduled to June 10,” Stewart posted. Ticketholders from Sunday’s show will be valid for the new date, he added.
Stewart, who took home the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 American Music Awards last month and performed an energetic rendition of “Forever Young,” resumed his “encore” residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on May 29-31 and June 1 before postponing his scheduled date on Sunday. His next scheduled residency date is on Wednesday. He has spent more than a dozen years performing his Vegas residency “Rod Stewart: The Hits,” to which the encore dates were added, extending the run.
He is also hitting the road for a One Last Time Tour, which will see the 80-year-old singer perform at amphitheaters across North America through June and August. In between, Stewart is scheduled to perform in his native England on the Pyramid Stage at the Glastonbury Festival on June 29. Following his tour run, he is expected to resume his Las Vegas residency on Sept. 24.
