New Found Glory Go All in on Headbanger '100%'

New Found Glory are finally getting everything they wanted. The pop-punk pioneers have signed to indie label Pure Noise Records. Since their major-label debut in 2000, New Found Glory have been part of several different labels in their nearly 30-year career.

“We’re very excited to be a new band as part of the Pure Noise family. It’s a record label that we feel we fit right at home with,” founding guitarist Chad Gilbert tells Rolling Stone in a statement. “They remind us of labels in the early days, the labels who care about the fans, care about our own creativity and appreciate the love of the punk / hardcore community. The importance of fun and cool releases, not just likes and streams,” Gilbert continued, adding, “The coolest thing is a lot of the people that are a part of the label were, and are still, long time NFG fans. So everything makes sense and it’s easy right off the bat.”

Pure Noise Records was founded in 2009 and has since become synonymous with the pop-punk and emo bands that flooded Warped Tour in its last decade. Their roster features major players from both genres scenes, including Knocked Loose, State Champs, Less Than Jake, Senses Fail, and The Story So Far, who are named after a classic New Found Glory song.

To celebrate the news, New Found Glory also shared new song, “100%,” a riff-heavy headbanger. “This song is meant to inspire fans and people going through hard times,” the band says. “Life is gonna hit you with unexpected tough times… In those moments we can choose to face them head on and rise to the challenge.”
