See the 'Grossest' Student of All Time in 'Big Mouth' Trailer

In case you’ve somehow forgotten how much middle school sucks, the trailer for the seventh season of Big Mouth is a fine reminder. There are guys having aggro freakouts in gym class, people’s crushes getting interested in other students, and, maybe worst of all, one student (John Mulaney‘s character, Andrew Glouberman) is honored with the superlative “grossest human.”

“Yeah, I think it’s a compliment,” a gross monster tells him, as a quick flashback shows him groping a female student, maybe by accident. “You’re the G.O.A.T. — the Grossest of All Time.” There are also many other gross things to expect (like lots of bodily fluids), all of which will premiere on Netflix on Oct. 20.

The season finds the Bridgton middle school students getting ready for high school as they face all sorts of obstacles, most of which are their own doing — or at least the doings of “Hormone Monsters”. “Even our changes are going through changes,” says one character, pretty much summing up the entire early teenage experience. If things seem especially crazy this time, it’s because it’s the show’s penultimate season leading up to a big finale.

The cast includes the series’ regulars like Nick Kroll (who is one of the show’s executive producers), John Mulaney, Fred Armisen, Maya Rudolph, and Jordan Peele. Guests this season include Megan Thee Stallion (whose surely unforgettable cameo is teased in the trailer), Lupita Nyong’o, Zazie Beetz, Padma Lakshmi, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosie Perez, and Billy Porter, among others. There will also be an original song by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
