There’s room for everyone in rap! Cardi B seemed to send her gratitude Young Thug‘s way after he suggested on social media that he changed the release date for his album, UY Scuti, so that it wouldn’t arrive the same day as her LP, Am I the Drama?
“Yall know I wasn’t dropping Friday. It’s a ladies [sic] day do yo shit @iamcardib,” Thug wrote on X Wednesday night. Shortly after, Cardi quote-tweeted her fellow rapper, writing, “And you better step next week …you got this, You know this !!”
Young Thug had originally announced that he’d drop UY Scuti on Friday at the end of his “Miss My Dogs” video, which was released last week. He’s since updated fans by sharing that another song is rolling out “next Friday,” on Sept. 26. The album title is a reference to ared supergiantstar 10,000 light-years away from Earth. The album will feature both “Miss My Dogs” and “Money on Money,” his collab with Future.

Sept. 26 will still be a packed album release week: Doja Cat is set to drop her LP Vie, Mariah Carey will unveil Here for It All, and Zara Larsson will drop Midnight Sun.
Cardi is slated to launch her first album in seven years on Friday. The 23-song track list includes collaborations with Janet Jackson on “Principal,” Selena Gomez on “Pick It Up,” Tyla on “Nice Guy,” Kehlani on “Safe,” and Summer Walker on “Shower Tears.” Earlier this week, she announced that she’ll go on her first headlining arena run, dubbed the Little Miss Drama Tour.
