We love it when musicians actually practice what they preach — and apparently, so does T-Pain. Nearly two decades after he declared his love for “the boots with the fur” in Flo Rida’s 2008 chart-topper “Low,” he’s still committed to the cause.
Case in point: T-Pain has teamed up with Crocs for a brand-new line of fur boots and clogs, released in honor of the brand’s “Croctober” event. And honestly, this shouldn’t surprise anyone — T-Pain is the king of side quests.

From appearing on The Masked Singer to breaking out in new choreography at his live shows (he looks like he’s having the most fun out of everyone), we never know where he is going to pop up next. For what it’s worth, though, the T-Pain concert I went to back in 2018 is still one of the best music performances I’ve ever seen.
But back to the Crocs: these aren’t your standard squishy, hole-punched Crocs beloved by fishermen and elementary-aged kids. The new line includes a tall cheetah-print fur boot complete with dangling charms, a fuzzy ankle bootie, and a black and gray cheetah-print clog reminiscent of the classic silhouette. And where exactly does T-Pain fit into all of this? Who better to pedal a Y2K-inspired footwear launch than the man who practically soundtracked the mid-2000s? In Crocs’ promo video posted on their social account, T-Pain appears in full mad scientist mode, deciding how to make this Crocs creation. We’re not sure if he’s got a chemistry degree, but he does know how to “Buy You a Drank,” and “Make that Booty Wurk” — so really, how far off can fabric mixing be? (Probably pretty far).
These limited-edition Crocs are still in stock (for now), but probably not for long.
