Featuring themed merch from all 30 professional NBA teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, Oklahoma City Thunder, and defending champs, the Boston Celtics, the collection takes inspiration from the legendary band’s skull and Dancing Bears iconography.
The collab features a variety of tees and hoodies retailing for $38-$74, so fans can rep their favorite NBA team with a new courtside fit that won’t break the bank.
While the Grateful Dead themselves have never performed at an NBA event before (although strangely enough, they did sponsor the 1992 Lithuanian Olympicbasketballteam, as well as release a limited-edition basketball with LA-based streetwear brand Market in 2020), the world of basketball and music have always been related.
