After kicking off his world tour last spring, Justin Timberlake will return to the stage this month to finish his global trek for 2025. “Oh yeah, I’m going on tour,” Justin Timberlake declared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last year. “Making this album is different from any other one,” Timberlake told Fallon during one of his Tonight Show appearances in 2024, later adding that the process was “different from making albums before because I would just go in for a block of time, and say this is what we made and this is what it is.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Timberlake detailed the studio process for the new project, including how he narrowed Everything I Thought It Was down to 18 songs from 100. “Two weeks writing, coming back for a month, and just what we call writer camps where I would work with different songwriters, work with different producers, people that I’ve worked with before, people that I’ve never worked with before.”
