Sleigh bells ring and it’s that time of year again, with Hallmark‘s “Countdown to Christmas” officially underway. The annual holiday event features all-new Hallmark Christmas movies premiering on the Hallmark Channel on TV and — love ’em or hate ’em — the films have become a beloved holiday tradition for millions of viewers each year.
This year, viewers can also get into the festive films by streaming Hallmark holiday movies online.
When Do Hallmark Christmas Movies Start Airing?
The Hallmark Channel kicked off the holidays early this year, and Hallmark Christmas movies actually started airing in October. The official kick-off date for Hallmark’s so-called “Countdown to Christmas 2023” was October 20.
New holiday movies began streaming in November and will continue airing until December 17 every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT (Hallmark will re-air fan favorites in the week leading up to Christmas).
There are 31 new Hallmark Christmas movies in total for 2023, plus nine new movies as part of the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “Miracles of Christmas” launch.
