Jennie is going solo once again. After teaming up last year to promote Beats’ Solo Buds, the K-pop star and Blackpink member is reuniting with the Apple-owned audio company on a special edition of the Solo 4 headphones. The collaboration was announced today, and the headphones will be available on Sept. 5.
The on-ear headphones come in (what else?) ruby red, and there are plenty of details inspired by the singer and rapper’s latest album. The headphones feature “J” and “R” lettering in the Ruby font, as well as symbols on the earcups themselves. The most eye-catching details are the matching red bows, which adorn the headband. The Jennie x Beats edition of the Solo 4 headphones come with a red co-branded soft carrying case.

The headphones were announced with a new ad campaign featuring the headphones blossoming from a bed of red flowers, set to the Ruby track “Like Jennie.”
In a statement announcing the release, Jennie said, “Beats has been part of my everyday life and creative process, so collaborating with them in this way feels very special. I’m excited for people to experience my music in a new way through these headphones.”
As for the headphones themselves, Beats’ Solo 4s, originally released in May 2024, have an on-ear design and a stated battery life of up to 50 hours. While they don’t have noise-canceling, they feature spatial audio and dynamic head tracking for compatible iOS devices, plus support for lossless audio with a USB-C cable. The Solo 4 headphones can also be used passively with a 3.5 mm audio cable, allowing you to listen without using battery.
The Jennie x Beats Solo 4 headphones will be available on Sept. 5 at 9 a.m. PDT on Apple.com, Best Buy, and at select Apple stores globally.You can check out the transparent red colorway of the Beats Solo Buds from last year’s campaign below.
