Sales of Kamala Harris merch have soared ever since Joe Biden stepped down from office and endorsed his Vice-President as the Democratic party presidential nominee. Now, a new T-shirt has arrived online that stumps for Harris while paying tribute to one of the most memorable Spanish-language songs of all time.
Amazon is selling a “Kama La Flor” T-shirt that riffs off “Como la Flor,” the hit 1992 single by singer Selena. It’s part of a number of “Kama La Flor” merch pieces available online right now.

While the original song title is loosely translated to “Like the Flower,” the new merch is, of course, a play on the Vice-President’s first name. Released under a banner reading “Latinos for Harris,” the fan-made T-shirt is available in sizes small to 4X in a white or slate grey (shown at right). Alongside a red flower graphic are the words “la tenemos tanto amor.” In English: “We have so much love for her.”

Etsy also has an unofficial Kamala-inspired take on the classic Selena song, with this “Kamala Flor” T-shirt that features an illustrated pic of Harris surrounded by a red heart and red flowers. From the Hispanic duo behind Casa Vera Design, the T-shirt is available in black or white, and sizes XS to 3XL. As the women behind Casa Vera say in their Etsy bio, their goal is to create products that “raise our voices for equality and social justice but also to be a living proof of being more caring and kind, to love one another, to show compassion and do something.”
