Kelly Clarkson is bringing back her Chemistry: An Intimate Evening residency to Las Vegas for four more shows. On Monday, the singer announced she’ll perform a pair of dates surrounding New Year’s Eve and Super Bowl weekend next February.
“I’m coming back Vegas! We are adding new shows to my exclusive Las Vegas engagement! See y’all December 30th, 31st & February 9th & 10th at Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood!” Clarkson wrote on Instagram.
Clarkson originally wrapped her 10 residency dates on August 19, where she performed her hits, songs from her newest LP Chemistry, along with Kellyokes of her favorite songs, including Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever” and Harry Styles’ “As It Was.”
“I could only commit to 10 shows, that’s why it’s exclusive,” Clarkson told theKelly Clarkson Showaudience when she announced the residency. “I ain’t adding more, I’m telling you right now. Mama needs a little bit, a minute of a break.”
During one of the singer’s residency performances at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood in August, her two children joined her onstage for a special moment. “Both of my kiddos backstage getting ready to join me on stage in Vegas nothing will ever be as cool and amazing as these two little humans that will always have my whole heart,” Clarkson wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of her son Remington Alexander and daughter River Rose preparing for their big moment.
The residency celebrates the singer’s recent album of the same name, featuring songs such as “Mine,” “Me,” and “Favorite Kind of High.”
