'Love Island USA' Reunion: 6 Biggest Bombshells (No, Not That Kind!)

We got a text!

Weeks after leaving the villa, the cast ofLove Island USASeason Seven reunited on Sunday night to relive all the drama, coupling (and recouplings!), and dumpings, from their viral season.

Andy Cohen joined Ariana Madix to co-host the reunion, where viewers got their much-desired updates on where each couple stands today, including winners Amaya and Bryan. Other couples like Nic and Olandria, Iris and Pepe, and Chelley and Ace were also in attendance, as were season favorites Huda, Chris, Austin, Jeremiah, TJ, Taylor, Clarke, Hannah, Charlie, and more.

And much like during the season, the reunion was full of laughter, tears, and, of course, standing on business. Here are the biggest revelations from the Love Island USA Season Seven reunion.

Bryan addresses claims he cheated on Amaya

After a video surfaced on social media of Bryan seemingly partying with other women, the Love Island star was accused of being unfaithful toAmayajust weeks after they won the $100,000 prize. But during the reunion, Bryan set the record straight, denying any and all cheating rumors.

“They’re trying to just throw any hate my way,” he said. “And within the cheating video, the hosting — I got paid to be there. I used to bartend back in the day. I had a lapse of judgment, and we’ve talked about it.”

When Cohenasked Bryan to clarify what his lapse of judgment was, he said, “Pouring shots around, giving the crowd shots and stuff like that.”

And Amaya backed up her man, saying she wouldn’t be sitting next to him if the rumors were true.

“We definitely spoke about it,” she said. “I’m not a woman that will be with someone who doesn’t respect me. So, if I’m with him and still with him, it’s clearly because the relationship dynamic is healthy and great.”

Nic hasn’t spoken to Cierra since leaving the villa

“I have not, and I don’t plan on it either.” Nic didn’t mince any words when asked if he had spoken to his ex, Cierra, who was kicked off the show mid-season after racist social media posts from her past resurfaced.

Nic said Cierra’s social media posts after leaving the villa, where she criticized Nic for moving on with Olandria and claimed she was given the “villain edit” on the show, deterred him from reaching out. He said it felt like she was “prioritizing some attention” rather than attempting to fix the situation and their relationship, “if there was anything to fix.” Cierra was not at the reunion.

Huda is incredibly weird about her dating life, despite everyone already knowing about it

After trying — and failing — to make amends with Chris (who declared they will “never be friends”), Huda refused to give an update on her current dating life — but not for the reasons you may think.

When Cohen asked her if she was dating anyone right now, she replied, “I can’t speak about my relationships outside the villa.”

Given that her response was super weirdly vague and ominous, Madix asked her to clarify, and Huda said, “Legal reasons… It’s Netflix. I’m not allowed to talk about it.”

Now, for anyone not chronically online, some background information: Since leaving the villa, Huda has been posting up a storm and even posing on red carpets with Netflix’s Perfect Match star Louis Russell. So, considering the fact that the two clearly aren’t trying to hide their romance, Huda’s attempt to dodge the question came off especially bizarre.

“OK, tell Netflix this was the No. 1 streaming show of the summer,” Cohen quipped.

Chelley and Ace address speculation that they were a couple before the show

After the internet sleuths uncovered comments and likes from Chelley and Ace dating back to 2022, conspiracy theories ran wild that they were secretly a couple before going on the show.

While Ace and Chelley have long admitted that they met once before in New York City and started following each other on social media, they both said that’s as far as their relationship went before entering the villa.

“I comment and show love to everybody,” Ace explained of their interactions on Instagram. “I’m not ashamed.”

“The date had to be wrong, though,” added Chelley. “We literally met last year. So, in 2022, I didn’t know any Ace.” When it was suggested that perhaps Ace went back and liked old photos of Chelley, he was quick to admit that that’s something he would do. “That could be possible, I ain’t going to lie.”

And Chelley laughed at the notion that they would be able to pull off such an elaborate scheme to get on the show to “form a powerful pairing from day one.”

“We told production, actually, ‘Hey, we want to be on there. We have this great idea for you guys to sell the show…Forget the 5,000 people who applied for the show, bring us on!”

“Went through ten interviews,” Ace said. “Perfectly lined up our answers to finally get on the show!”

Jeremiah really really really wants everyone to know he didn’t lovebomb Huda

Perhaps the interaction everyone had been waiting for, Huda and Jeremiah finally came face to face for the first time. Jeremiah was quick to call his short-lived relationship with Huda “toxic” but adamantly rebutted Huda’s public claims that he lovedbombed her.

While he admitted he liked her “too much, too fast, he pushed back against assertions that he was intentionally or unintentionally trying to manipulate Huda by lovebombing her, even busting out the dictionary definition of the phrase. He even went as far as to reveal that he regularly checked in with Huda to make sure he wasn’t moving too fast or doing too much too soon. But when Huda doubled down, Jeremiah began polling the rest of the cast. No one wanted to answer, naturally.

We finally know what happened during the heart rate challenge

An unseen, extended version of the now-infamous heart rate challenge was shown, revealing exactly what it was that Huda did that upset Chelley so much. In the clip, Huda is seen dancing proactively on Ace, so much so that other cast members called it “soft core porn” during the challenge.

As fans know, the challenge put an immediate wedge between Huda and Chelley, with Chelley saying she felt betrayed by how far Huda took the challenge.

“I think I took it a step too far,” Huda said during the reunion. “I do apologize if I made anyone feel uncomfortable. Everything was consensual, there were no limitations, and we all made that very clear at the beginning of the challenge.”

Cohen asked Chelley if, after watching back, she still feels justified in her feelings. “I definitely feel like I was justified.”

Chelley explained that her hurt feelings were more about “friendship and sisterhood” than consent. “When you do certain challenges, it’s with intention because you’re interested in a person. To my knowledge, you didn’t have any interest in Ace, so to go as far as that, me being your friend, I think my reasons were very justified.”
