Meta and Ray-Ban just launched the most advanced smart eyewear yet: the Meta Ray-Ban Display. The new smart glasses feature three key new technologies: They’re the first AI-powered glasses, they feature an in-lens display, and they’re controlled by the new Meta Neural Band, a wrist unit that functions with intuitive hand movements. Add Ray-Ban good looks, and you’ve got (arguably) the best smart glasses yet.

The new Meta Ray-Ban Display & Neural Band package is priced at $799 and is available in-store at Best Buy —the exclusive big-box retail partner for the glasses. If you’re interested (we definitely are), you’ll need to schedule a demo at a Best Buy location. Appointments start on Tuesday, Sept. 30 — check times here.

Meta Ray-Ban Display & Neural Band Features, Specs

Unveiled at Meta Connect 2025, the new Display glasses are a major upgrade from the previous Meta Ray-Ban products. The augmented reality display is only visible to the wearer and completely disappears when not in use. The Neural Band’s EMG technology lets you control the in-lens display using subtle, intuitive hand movements, like taking a photo or checking messages by flicking your wrist.

In other words, the Meta Ray-Ban Display package is a step towards a post-smartphone world. Gone are the days of pulling out your phone to check messages, take calls, snap photos, look at navigation, or ask quick questions. The AI integration adds another level of intelligence, bringing features like real-time language translation.

Like other Meta Ray-Ban products, this one includes a discreet 12MP camera for taking photos and videos or livestreaming. The in-lens display on this model also includes a viewfinder, so you can see exactly what you’re capturing, review footage, and share without opening an app on your phone.

The Meta Ray-Ban Display package is available starting Tuesday, Sept. 30, exclusively in-store at Best Buy locations. Book a demo appointment here.
