Pink fans in Tacoma, Washington, will have to wait a little while longer to see the singer perform. Ahead of the two stops in the city on her Summer Carnival tour, the singer announced that she would be postponing both nights while dealing with “family medical issues.”
“Family medical issues require our immediate attention,” Pink wrote in a statement shared on Instagram. “I send everyone my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. I am sending nothing but love and health to all.”
The two postponed shows were scheduled for Washington’s Tacoma Dome on Tuesday, Oct. 17, and Wednesday, Oct. 18. In her statement, the singer added: “Live Nation are working on future dates to reschedule.”
Pink released her most recent album, Trustfall, earlier this year and has been on tour promoting it ever since. The Summer Carnival tour is scheduled to continue running through March 2024. Following the postponed shows, the singer’s next show is set for Oct. 20 in Vancouver at Rogers Arena. In the next few weeks, she will make stops in Denver, Kansas City, Montreal, New York, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Louisville, and more.
In June, at the tour opener in England, her 12-year-old daughter Willow Sage Hart joined her on stage for a performance of “Cover Me in Sunshine.” Pink’s husband, Carey Hart, shared clips from the performance on Instagram, showing love for them both: “So proud of Willz to get up on stage w/ mama,” he wrote. “Must be a surreal moment for mama to have w/ her lil girl on stage. Looks like 1st show of the tour kicked ass!” The couple also share a 6-year-old son, Jameson.
