Post Malone is about to have a big ass year…and that requires some big ass sound. Sony got a little help from the F-1 Trillion global superstar for the launch of their new Ult Power Sound series, featuring three new speakersthat deliver powerful, punchy bass and dynamic sound, all at the touch of a button.

The audio giant had previously tapped artists like Peso Pluma, Miguel, Le Sserafim, but picked Posty for this new lineup because he “embodies the spirit of authenticity, creativity and connection – values that lie at the core of Sony’s approach to audio innovation,” according to a release. Describing the new speaker series as “insane”, Malone says in a statement: “I’ve always wanted the music to feel personal, and this partnership with Sony is a chance to create something that brings people closer to the music in a real way…everyone should really experience this.”

As part of Sony’s “For The Music” campaign, Malone is showing off three of their upgraded wireless Bluetooth speakers which feature significant redesigns that’ll “make listeners feel like they are front row at a concert.” All three speakers now have a dedicated Ult button to activate two new sound modes: Ult1 delivers “deeper, lower frequency bass,” while Ult2 provides “powerful punchy bass.” Two of the speakers also have improved LEDs for room-filling, beat-synced lighting.

Besides bringing to bass into your home, Malone is also bringing his sound to headline the third and final night of Coachella on Sunday, April 13 (along with the fest’s second weekend, too). Soon after, he’ll kick off his “Big Ass Stadium Tour” alongsideJelly Roll, then set off on a world tour in August. “I am so honored to have worked with some of my favorite artists, writers, and friends… I have had the time of my life making this record, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I’m so excited for the opportunity to make it,”Post Malone shared onlineafter droppingF-1 Trillionover the summer. “Everyone keep expressing yourself, having fun, loving what you do, and loving each other. I love you more than I can say. Have a great night mofo’s, and I’ll see you soon 😈💕🍻.”

While these three new speakers seem to be powered by never-ending battery life (up to 25 hours), Malone has kept the party going in his own right. He was nominated earlier this year for eight awards at the 2025 Grammys, including country album of the year forF-1 Trillion, song and record of the year for featuring onTaylor Swift‘s “Fortnight”, and best pop duo/group performance for featuring onBeyoncé‘s “LEVII’S JEANS” off her own country album,Cowboy Carter.

With powerful sound in a pint-sized package, the new Ult Field 3 ($199.99) is now the second smallest speaker in Sony’s Ult Power Sound line. It replaces the cylindrical SRS-XE300 and can now be placed either horizontally or vertically, with an adjustable seven-band EQ that lets you tweak the speaker’s sound without sacrificing on battery life (unfortunately you won’t get LED light who with this one). Even though it’s powdered by just a single woofer and tweeter paired with two huge passive radiators on both sides, you’ll get the same bass modes by pressing the integrated Ult1 button (this speaker doesn’t have the Ult2 mode). That being said if you opt for boosted pass, that reduces the battery life from 24 hours of playback to just five hours at max volume.

This upgraded design features 10-band adjustable EQ on the Sound Connect app, a shoulder strap for added portability, and and a boxy look similar to the rest of the line, letting you use the speaker standing vertically or on its side. The Ult Field 5 is powered by a central woofer with two tweeters on the front and two passive radiators on the sides. Sony has also improved the LEDs on either end to better project the colored lighting on nearby surfaces. You’ll also get up 25 hours of battery life with either the Ult1 or Ult2 bass modes activated and lighting off.

For karaokeheads, party-throwers, and the like, the largest of the lineup is theULT Tower 9 party speaker ($899.99), replacing the former Sony SRS-XV900. It’s powered by a large woofer, four tweeters, two midrange drivers, and offers both new bass modes. The battery-powered version yields 25 hours of playback and a quick charge option that’ll get you three hours of playback with only a 10 minute top-up (Sony is also offering a cheaper $749.99 option that’s AC-only). If you want to take the party with you, the speaker has enlarged wheels to improve mobility and improved 360-degree LED lighting that can light up a wider area of floor space around it. Like Sony’s other party speakers, you’ll also get karaoke mic support and the TV-connectivity.
