Sabrina Carpenter Thanks Fans for 'Having Such a Damn Good Time' With 'Man's Best Friend'

Sabrina Carpenter thanked fans for “having such a damn good time” with her new album, Man’s Best Friend, after it became her second record to top the Billboard 200 Albums chart.

On Instagram on Wednesday, Carpenter shared a short note marking the occasion, as well as an endearing montage of behind-the-scenes footage from the Man’s Best Friend sessions. Noting that not only was Man’s Best Friend her second Number One album, but also her “highest debut ever” on the chart, Carpenter said, “I feel so lucky to have such beautiful love and support all around me.”

Carpenter also gave a shout-out to her key collaborators: Songwriter Amy Allen, and producers/songwriters Jack Antonoff and John Ryan. She said working with the three of them “was one of the most most pure wholesome electric times in my life,” and to see fans “resonating” with the music they made “makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”

“Thank you for listening (top to bottom!!!),” Carpenter continued, “And thank you for bringing this album into your lives and having such a damn good time with it, I’m having fun too.”

Carpenter released Man’s Best Friend at the end of August, almost exactly one year after her breakthrough LP, Short n’ Sweet. In a recent Rolling Stone cover story, Carpenter said the album contains “some of the most honest work I’ve ever had,” adding it “wasn’t written from a place of ‘How do I one-up myself?’ or ‘How do I re-create something else?’”

In October, Carpenter will return to the road, launching a North American tour originally announced in February — well before she’d even announced Man’s Best Friend — and technically still part of her Short n’ Sweet tour. She also has several South American festival dates scheduled for March 2026, and sources recently told Rolling Stone that she’s expected to headline Coachella next year.
