The fate of the world’s most famous superspy is up in the air following the decision of the Broccoli family, the long-time producers of the James Bond franchise, to relinquish control to Amazon MGM Studios. Many fans were left concerned about Bond’s future, but those clamoring to revisit Bond’s heyday — and those iconic songs — have a new release to look forward to.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced this week that a new 4K Blu-ray remaster of Sean Connery’s six-film run will arrive in June. Best of all, the collection will be housed in a stylish Steelbook case. There’s no official cover design, but fans can pre-order the collection on Amazon before it drops on June 3.

The standard set retails for $105, while the Steelbook will be available for $140. Fans who want the collector’s edition will likely want to preorder soon, as collectible Steelbooks often sell out.
The new collection comprises Connery’s original six-film run of Dr. No through Diamonds Are Forever. Connery’s run started with 1962’s Dr. No, followed by From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, and You Only Live Twice.
Connery would then leave the franchise and be replaced by George Lazenby, whose sole outing as Bond was On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Connery regained his Double-0 status with 1971’s Diamonds Are Forever.
Connery would also later return in 1983’s Never Say Never Again, which wasn’t produced by Eon Productions and is typically not counted as an official release. Bond’s most recent outing was 2021’s No Time to Die, starring Daniel Craig, and while there have been numerous box sets of the franchise, none, to date, have included all 25 films.
