If there’s one show everyone should be talking about right now, it’s The Studio. My friends, family, coworkers, and barista are all obsessed. And if your inner circle isn’t yet, consider this your cue to catch up; because you’re missing out on one of the funniest, most stress-inducing comedies since Apple TV+ gave us Severance (a.k.a. workplace trauma therapy disguised as prestige television).

The Studio stars Seth Rogen as Matt Remick, a cluelessly confident, celebrity-obsessed movie studio head who’s just inherited the top job after his predecessor, Patty Leigh (played by Catherine O’Hara), was canned. What follows is a chaotic fever dream of jazz drumming, tense long takes, and a parade of painfully awkward interactions with producers, actors, and production assistants. It’s a comedy, though, I swear.

I finished the season a week ago and have already started rewatching. So, Hollywood Foreign Press Association: don’t screw this up. When Golden Globes season rolls around, you know who deserves to win: Sal Saperstein (iykyk).
Besides the incredible writing and impressive camera angles, the show’s fashion is one of my favorite parts. But for all the costume changes happening on-screen (special shoutout to Rogen’s Brunello Cucinelli suit… take the keys out of your pocket, Matt), one accessory quietly steals the show: Matt Remick’s glasses.
Rogen’s (sorry, Remick’s) vintage-inspired frames by Cutler and Gross are the exact mix of highbrow, pretentious, and chill, “I don’t take anything too seriously” energy. They’re called the 1397 Square Opticals, and you can grab a pair for just under $600.
