When people ask what our team at RS Recommends does for a living, the reaction is often the same: “Wait, so… you shop all day?” The short answer? Pretty much. Sure, there’s writing, emailing, and a whole lot of research involved — but at the heart of it, yes, we shop. That’s why when it comes to finding the best in-home, tech, lifestyle, and fashion, we’re the team to trust.

This July, our shopping editors have rounded up the products they can’t live without. From stylish and comfortable ballet flats to Bluetooth speakers worth shouting about, these are our tried-and-true favorites. And yes, we’ve tested every single one. To prove it, we even took our own photos — please excuse the lighting (we’re editors, not photographers) — and dive into our favorite finds below.

For Love & Lemons x Lynnee Cookware Set

$139.00

Buy Now on lynnee

$25.00+

Buy Now on for love & lemons

For Love & Lemons has long been one of my favorite fashion brands — think fairy-core meets sultry princess vibes. So when they teamed up with cookware company Lynnee to launch a collection of kitchen essentials, I knew I had to try it. And wow… I wasn’t disappointed. Everything from the packaging to the product design was gorgeous — I literally gasped when I opened the box containing the frying pan, pot holder set, and butter dish. The quality? Incredible. I made lemony chicken and broccoli ziti the first night, and it cooked perfectly; no burning, just flavor.

Even better? The pan is aluminum-free (which, I’ve learned, is a major win for your health). The whole set is so damn pretty, I’ve actually got it on display in my kitchen instead of tucked away in a drawer. The photo doesn’t even do it justice (shout out to my landlord for the bad lighting in our apartment). And the rest of the collection — an apron, exclusive apparel, and lingerie — is just as dreamy. I’m already planning a Sunday dinner just so I can show it all off. Especially the butter dish. Yes, I’m that proud. – Alexis Mikulski Ruiz, Commerce Writer

Marshall Kilburn III Speaker

$379.99

Marshall has a history of designing vintage-looking speakers as a nod to their rock & roll amplifier past. The brand’s latest Bluetooth home speaker, the Kilburn III, keeps the tradition going, and it’s become a mainstay around my house. But it’s not just because of its chic style — the dust- and water-resistant speaker’s an absolute powerhouse with full, warm sound, a 50-hour battery life on a charge, and analog buttons that make turning up your tunes more of an experience. Third time’s truly a charm: It’s Marshall’s best home speaker yet.– John Lonsdale, Commerce Editor

Sony ULT Field 3 Speaker

$128.00

Buy Now On Amazon

I’ve recently been testing theSony ULT Field 3, and have been playing around with it everywhere — Central Park, beaches out on the North Fork of Long Island, you name it. Unlike the tiny, toss-in-your-backpack-type portable speakers I usually use outdoors, I love how rugged this one feels (it’s got IP67 water, dust, and shock resistance), yet the shoulder strap ups the mobility factor and makes it easy to tote around.

Sony recently upgraded their ULT Power Sound button, and it really delivers on thumping bass that hitshard— we used it for an impromptu karaoke session of theK-Pop Demon Hunterssoundtrack, though when that mode’s turned on, the vocals and mids can get a bit lost in the process. Battery life is solid, and it came in clutch with the ability to let me charge my phone via USB‑C. While it’s not the most nuanced for listening to the sparkling details of rich albums, if I’m outdoors and craving some bass-boosted partying, this speaker delivers. – Sage Anderson, Commerce Editor

I’ve officially found the set for the rest of the summer. TravisMathew’s Coastal Ribbed set was my favorite thing to wear while at the American Century Championship earlier this month, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for Tahoe. The lightweight, ribbed fabric is soft with just the right stretch — sporty enough for the course, polished enough for lunch, and comfy enough to lounge in all day. – Katie Ann Lehman, Account Manager

Maker’s Mark Champion Selection x Los Angeles Dodgers

$76.99

Buy Now at top shelf

Blue looks good on you, Maker’s Mark. The venerable bourbon maker teamed up with the 2024 World Series champs on a limited-edition bottle, swapping the traditional red wax for Dodger blue. The bottle supports the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, which contributes to ongoing wildfire relief efforts across the city.

The 112.1 proof whiskey is aged in charred oak barrels and is part of the Maker’s Private Selection program. It has notes inspired by caramel popcorn and spiced peanuts — aka, a day at the ballpark.

Bottles are available at select Dodgers games throughout the season and at LA liquor stores, with some bottles also available online. – J.Z.

I’m always on the lookout for a reliable flower delivery service — something that can show up for the moments I can’t. Out of all the brands I’ve tried, The Bouqs Co. is one of the best. Not only are they more affordable compared to similar services, but the flowers themselves are stunning. They last forever (I took this photo two weeks after receiving them to prove it), and they don’t skimp on abundance either — one bouquet filled three vases. Right now, you can even get 20% off with the code ROLLINSTONE. That’s how much I love them. – A.M.R.

This Kate Spade matchbox wallet might just be the cutest card holder I’ve ever owned. Seriously, I fit it inside this Gucci mini bag right here. Say hello to the bed blanket that ruined all other blankets for me. Sunday Citizen’s bed blanket is basically a two-sided hug — breathable muslin cotton on one side (perfect for hot sleepers like me) and their iconic Snug fabric on the other (aka: the softest thing I’ve ever touched). Cozy meets cool in the best possible way! – K.L.

Maison Matine Eau De Parfum

$85.00

Buy Now on free people

Admittedly, I’m a bit of a fraghead, and this year I’ve been on the seemingly never-ending quest to find my elusive “signature sent”. At the risk of sounding entirely too bougie to live, I found this Maison Matine fragrance like a hidden gem, tucked inside the Boutique that’s situated next to farm-to-table restaurant Juntos House in Ibiza (luckily enough for all of our sakes, a few of their gender-free bottles from the committed French perfumer areavailable at Free People).

While I sniffed about half a dozen of their offerings, I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I chose this bottle on sheer vibes alone, mostly because the retro-futuristic art reminded me of the classic Vaporwave albumFloral Shoppefrom Macintosh Plus. The unique blend of Sichuan pepper hit up top, but that warm swirl of rose and soft tonka‑vanilla musk reminded me of a spa lobby. While this pick isn’t as readily available, any of their bottles feel like statement pieces (and scents) — I’d recommend picking up theirBain De Midi(smells like an elevated suntan lotion) orLost In Translation(like hanging clean laundry in a flower garden). – S.A.

OtterBox Symmetry Series iPhone Case

$59.99

Buy Now on otterbox

My nickname growing up was “butterfingers,” and not much has changed — I still drop everything, especially my iPhone. So while I’ve always needed a protective phone case, I usually chose looks over function. But then OtterBox started making whimsical, fun designs instead of the bulky ones from the mid-2000s, and I was sold. This floral pattern is eye-catching, feels great in my hand, and most importantly, it’s saved my phone through countless falls, including one at a Rüfüs Du Sol concert last weekend. Oops. – A.M.R.

Counterpart Charger

$44.00

Buy Now at counterpart

It’s hard to imagine a USB-C charger that’s genuinely worth getting excited about, but Counterpart’s space-saving USB-C charger, boldly dubbed “The Charger,” promises to banish cord clutter for good. That’s because it has a retractable, four-foot USB-C cable, and the colorful silicone build stands out from the bland black and white bricks of yore.

The charger extends with a pull of the cable and retracts by pushing the middle of the charger. The stylish wall charger comes in muted colors, such as peach, rust orange, and blue-gray, with cute names like “Pucker,” “Oxide,” and “Heaven.”

The 35-watt GaN charger allows for fast charging of phones, and it can handle tablets, gaming handhelds, headphones, and more. That said, the $44 price is steep, particularly given that faster chargers are available for less, and the bulky design may limit what you plug into the second outlet. Still, if you’re tired of dealing with a tangle of cords and want a design-forward option, The Charger might be the solution you’re looking for. – J.Z.

Aldo Estelli Ballerina Flats

$98.00

Buy Now on aldo

When it comes to shoes, I won’t lie, I’m a total baby. I hate being uncomfortable during my daily commute or a weekend wandering around the city, but I still want to look good. Orthopedic footwear is never my vibe, and while I love HOKA, they don’t always go with a mini dress. Which is why I got these Aldo flats, and I am completely obsessed with them. They’re comfy, supportive, and actually elevate an outfit rather than bring it down. They’ve officially become my go-to. – A.M.R.
