SZA Debuts Lush New Song 'Saturn' During Grammys Commercial

SZA had another trick up her sleeve during her big Grammy night: The singer debuted her new song “Saturn” during a MasterCard commercial. The track will likely appear on Lana, her deluxe version of SOS.

The star performed “Saturn” on a verdant set, swinging among trees and flowers like a forest nymph. On the equally lush single, she sings “I tread over Saturn/I can’t break this pattern/Of floatin’ away.”

“Saturn” is the first taste of the highly anticipated Lana. Her partnership with MasterCard is part of the Priceless Planet Coalition initiative, which shines a light on climate change. The coalition’s mission is to plant 100 million trees around the world to help accelerate forest restoration.

Earlier in the night, SZA performed “Snooze” and “Kill Bill.” She is up for nine awards this evening and has already taken three, including Best R&B Song for “Snooze.” SOS is up for Album of the Year while “Kill Bill” is recognized in the Song and Record of the Year categories.
