Au Revoir Conrad and Jeremiah: Belly Starts a New Life in Paris in 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' Finale Trailer

Step aside, Emily — Belly is now in Paris.

On Friday, Prime Video dropped a trailer for the final three episodes of Season Three of The Summer I Turned Pretty, teasing the aftermath of Wednesday’s heartwrenching episode.

As fans know (and if you don’t, stop reading immediately!), the latest episode of the drama showed Belly and Jeremiah tearfully calling off their wedding after Conrad finally confessed his feelings for her. Forced to leave the life she thought she’d have with Jeremiah behind, including her beloved Cousins beach house, Belly heads to the airport and, in a last-minute decision, books a flight to Paris. But just as she’s about to board the plane, she spots Conrad sitting at a nearby gate.

While the ending left it unclear whether she and Conrad would speak before her flight, the new trailer seems to hint that they won’t. In the new clip, Belly is seen picking up the pieces of the mess she made — but this time, with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

“I had these pillars in my life — Cousins, my family, Taylor, Jere,” she says. “They made me feel like I was safe, like I was on solid ground. And now they’re gone, and it’s just me.”

Set to Ellie Goulding’s “Anything Could Happen,” Belly is seen working a new job and making new friends (including a visit from her best friend, Taylor). “I don’t even know who I am anymore,” she says. “I need to find the person I can be.”

But just as she starts to find her new groove, a ghost from her past reappears. The final moments of the trailer show Belly receiving a letter from Conrad.

“Dear Belly,” Conrad’s voice says in the ominous final seconds.

The trailer also teases the addition of a few new cast members, including Corinna Brown (Heartstopper), Fernando Cattori (With You in the Future, Untamed Royals), Isaline Prevost Radeff (Ceux Qui Travaillent, Haute Mer), and Jahz Armando (Gangs of London) in recurring roles.

There are only three episodes left inThe Summer I Turned Pretty Season Three, with the highly anticipated finale set to air Sept. 17. Fans have become so invested in the series’ twisted love triangle at the heart of the plot that creator Jenny Hanissued an anti-bullying message.

“I know fans of the show are passionate and no one has bad intent,” Han wrote in an Instagram Story post on Aug. 26, the night before the particularly pivotal episode. “But even in jest, posting images of a woman being slapped or choked is not funny.”

This marked the second warning the show issued. At the start of the third and final season of the series, official social media accounts for the showencouraged viewersto “keep the conversation kind this summer” and avoid bullying, doxxing, and hate speech in online discussions.
