Country legend Trisha Yearwood is back with new music and she’s spilling the details in a new livestream conversation taking place on Monday.

Yearwood’s new album is called The Mirror and marks the singer’s first new release since 2019. The country star was given the “June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award” at the CMT Awards last year, and debuted a new track, titled “Put It in a Song,” at the show. Now, she’s back with another new single, “The Mirror,” with the title track from her album described as “a heartfelt anthem of self-reflection and empowerment.”

Yearwood is pulling out all the promo stops for the new album, which marks the first time the singer has fully co-written and co-produced a record. First up on her promo tour: an appearance on the shoppable streaming network, TalkShopLive on June 30, where the singer will be joined by New York Times bestselling author Jen Hatmaker for an intimate one-on-one chat about the album.

Fans can join the livestream to ask questions and directly purchase a signed copy of the album on vinyl or CD from TalkShopLive. Rolling Stone will also simulcast the livestream on this page and on its Facebook page here. The show begins at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.

TalkShopLive says Yearwood will join Hatmaker for a live conversation “offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at The Mirror and the creative journey behind it.”

“I feel like a lot of the songs on this record are letters to my younger self. The Mirror is absolutely that,” Yearwood says, in a press release. “In my experience we, as women, are so hard on ourselves. We pick ourselves apart. But have you ever passed yourself in a mirror and, not realizing it was you, thought, ‘She looks strong, or confident’—something you’d never say about yourself? That thought inspired the song: about reaching a place where you talk to yourself like a best friend, not your worst enemy.”

The Mirror is due out July 18.
