Donald Trump attacked Rupert Murdoch, who owns Fox News and the Wall Street Journal, and accused him of using his media properties to sabotage his presidential campaign.
In one of the two dozen clips from Trump’s recent video dump on Truth Social, the former president continued his ongoing feud with the conservative network on Wednesday.
“Rupert Murdoch is a globalist,” ranted Trump in a video posted to the platform. “You don’t know that. And I am America first, it’s very simple. I put America first. It will always be that way so get used to it.”
As reported by Rolling Stone earlier this month, Trump — who is hellbent on punishing Fox forbacking rival Ron DeSantis — has repeatedly mocked Fox brass and on-air talent for allegedly “begging” him to participate in the GOP presidential debate.
In the video, Trump, criticized the Wall Street Journal and claimed it “has totally lost its way,” adding, “They pushed DeSanctimonious so hard and now they’re looking for someone else because he’s failed.”
The former president, who has a vast lead in national polls over his primary opponents, was gleeful over the Florida governor’s floundering numbers and called him “a Murdoch pick” who has “fallen like a very badly injured bird out of the sky.”
Trump was a no-show at last week’s first Republican primary debate, which was chock-full of his devotees, and instead opted for a counter-interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, which aired at the same time.
As the front-runner for the GOP nomination for the White House, Trump faces four separate criminal cases and 91 felony counts — complicating his busy campaign calendar with a growing portfolio of legal woes.
