ICE, Charlie Kirk, and a horny Donald Trump all make appearances in a teaser for an upcoming episode of South Park. Today, Comedy Central released the 20-second clip touting that the second episode of the show’s new season will air on Aug. 6, and it continues its hilarious and satirical takedown of the president.
The teaser opens with a re-creation of a Charlie Kirk-type character debating passersby with his alt-right takes, like the real one does for Turning Point USA. “You can just shut up, baby, because you hate America and love abortion!” says the insufferable character.
Then, a clip plays of ICE vehicles patrolling a make-believe city, masked and armed like a private militia — echoing the tactics of real-life groups that have descended on Latino communities in Los Angeles and across the U.S.
Fittingly, the teaser ends with President Donald Trump on a dinner date with Satan — a reunion of the characters that prompted a White House statement last week. This time, a Trump caricature, sporting puny legs dangling off his chair, strokes Satan’s thigh under the table until Lucifer elbows him and tells him: “Stop!”
Last week, the White House had a meltdown over the South Park premiere, which joked about the president’s “teeny-tiny” pee-pee and depicted him as beingin bed with the devil. The episode ended with a “PSA” featuring a fake, human Trump looking down at his mini penis, which ends the episode by declaring: “I’m Donald J. Trump, and I approve this message.”
In a lengthy statement to Rolling Stone last week, a White House spokesperson addressed the episode, slamming the show as “hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas” in search for attention.
“The Left’s hypocrisy truly has no end — for years they have come afterSouth Parkfor what they labeled as ‘offense’ [sic] content, but suddenly they are praising the show,” White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers said at the time. “Just like the creators ofSouth Park, the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows.”
Rogers added: “President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country’s history — and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump’s hot streak.”
