Beyoncé officially hit the stage for her Cowboy Carter tour on April 28 at SoFi Stadium, her first stop on a nine-city global trek. From flying over the crowd in a red convertible and a larger-than-life neon-lit horseshoe, to singing “Protector” with her daughters Rumi and Blue Ivy beside her, Queen Bey performed a “powerful statement on country,” as we put it, celebrating her Grammy-winning album to a packed house in Los Angeles.
“It’s my first time singing these songs,” Beyoncé told the crowd. And for fans who attended Monday night’s show in L.A., it was also the first time we got to show off our Cowboy Carter tour style.
